Gozo vs Malta Social Tennis Events
Each year, we plan to have a fun tennis activity taking place in Malta and Gozo between recreational tennis players on both islands.
Typically, this will involve a day-long tennis tournament (usually doubles), followed by a dinner event in the evening.
Players travelling to the island where the tennis event is taking place, will have the opportunity to book into and spend a few days at a selected hotel on the island.

RAINY DAY
Unfortunately, the day was plagued by severe rain storms throughout the day. The tennis tournament was cancelled, but a few brave souls (16 in total) headed to the tennis courts to get bit of play in when there was a break in the weather.
HEAVY WINDS & RAIN
Although the players got a few short matches in, the clouds were starting to build up and the sky began to darken. It wasn't long before the players were forced to take shelter from the storm in the tunnel.

As some of the players took shelter from the sudden storm, a photo opportunity presented itself.
As you can see, despite the unfortunate weather, the players were not going to let it spoil their day.
FIVE STAR DINNER
The day wasn't a total loss though and, in the evening, players enjoyed the excellent catering and service that you would expect from a five star hotel. Players ate, drank and socialised, as the live music provided played late into the night..
